New: STATESET is a major new model used for power supply average models and related control systems. It results in guaranteed DC convergence for nonlinear circuits.
DC convergence is required for calculating the DC operating point, performing AC analysis and to initialize transient simulations. Many nonlinear circuits have more than one stable OP, operating point, solution. SPICE uses the .nodeset control to suggest an initial value.
