The circuits listed below are from the MCNC Benchmark Series, circa 1990. IsSpice4 runs 100% of these circuits to completion.
The MCNC benchmark test suite shown here demonstrates that IsSpice4 completely runs all of these circuits. In fact, IsSpice4 has consistently outperformed the competition in independent evaluations by EDN and other magazines. IsSpice4 is the first commercial Spice simulator to offer many new features including our if-then-else and Boolean extensions to SPICE3, incorporation of XSPICE, OLE/Visual Basic interface and numerous other features that you don't see because they're "under the hood."

For this benchmark set, IsSpice4 was run on an PentiumIII-600MHz with 128Meg RAM.

Speed Note: All circuits simulated with IsSpice4 were run interactively and used the Real-Time Waveform display (this increased runtimes by an average of 10% over the running times where IsSpice4 is run batch style with no real-time display). If IsSpice4 were run using its batch mode of operation, where the real-time display is blanked (not used), all runtimes would decrease by an average of 10%.
